Resistance Fighters

George Doundoulakis formed one of the cells of the Cretan resistance. George's' involvement combined with the brothers' association with the British Army made this cell an important source of information for the Allies.

They used the home of Maria Androulakis as a headquarters and stored their most important documents there. Her son, John, joined the fighters.
