After the War
After the war, Helias Doundoulakis returned to the United States, the land of his birth, after a more than twenty year absence. He settled in Brooklyn, New York, where he married, became an engineer, a father and a grandfather.
Helias Doundoulakis passed away on February 29, 2016 in Freeport, New York.
